Aorun refurbished compact and mini crawler excavators shipped to Benin.

During the lean preparation process at the Aorun Liangshan production base, technical engineers specializing in foreign trade conducted extensive structural reinforcement and a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle, specifically tailored to the operational requirements of municipal and landscaping projects in Benin. To accommodate the tight working clearances found on city streets and in orchards, the vehicle's structure underwent optimization of its center of gravity. The upper structure remains within the footprint of the tracks during slewing; combined with a boom swing function, this enables precise, unobstructed excavation—even in confined "blind spots" such as areas against walls or beside utility poles—without the need to reposition the undercarriage.

Given that the Port of Cotonou in Benin is situated in a tropical maritime climate characterized by high humidity and heavy salt spray, the salt present in both seawater and the air causes severe electrochemical corrosion to the exposed hydraulic cylinder piston rods and electrical connectors of the mini-excavators. To address this, the Aorun quality control team implemented rigorous protective upgrades prior to shipment:

The main boom, dipper arm, dozer blade, and engine hood of each unit underwent comprehensive shot-blasting for rust removal, followed by the application of a zinc-rich primer and three coats of high-gloss polyurethane metallic paint.

Prior to port delivery, professional foreign trade engineers apply a comprehensive, heavy-duty, marine-grade anti-corrosion wax coating to critical, exposed areas—such as chrome-plated hydraulic piston rods, slewing bearing gear rings, boom pins, and travel motor valve blocks. Shipping is arranged exclusively via Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels with under-deck stowage or via premium containerized shipping (LCL), effectively blocking physical and electrochemical corrosion from sea salt spray to ensure the equipment remains in "like-new" condition upon arrival and customs clearance.
