Aorun refurbished heavy-duty crawler excavator shipped to Angola.

During the lean preparation process at the Aorun Liangshan production base, technical engineers specializing in foreign trade conducted extensive structural reinforcement and comprehensive inspections of the vehicle to ensure it could withstand the harsh geological conditions found in Angola. The boom and arm feature a box-section design made of high-tensile, low-alloy steel, with critical load-bearing points undergoing shot-peening to eliminate residual welding stresses. This structural configuration allows complex, alternating torsional stresses—generated when the bucket strikes hard rock during excavation—to be rapidly dissipated across the vehicle's superstructure, effectively preventing structural cracking caused by localized overloading.

To address the high concentrations of fine suspended dust encountered during mining operations, the intake filtration system has been upgraded; this effectively blocks sand particles from entering the combustion chamber—thereby preventing abnormal cylinder wear—and ensures the engine maintains high thermal efficiency even in high-temperature, dusty environments.

Prior to consolidation and shipment, professional foreign trade engineers apply a comprehensive, heavy-duty, marine-grade anti-corrosion wax coating to critical, hard-to-reach areas of the excavator—such as the all-steel track frames, hydraulic cylinder piston rods, slewing bearing gear rings, and exposed piping. Transportation is carried out using premium Roll-on/Roll-off (RO-RO) vessels (with stowage inside the hold) or bulk carriers (with secure lashing in the hold), establishing a robust physical barrier against marine salt spray to ensure the equipment arrives in pristine, like-new condition.
