Nigerian customers visit 3-axle low flatbed semi-trailer

In the production workshop, the customer's first focus was on the "backbone" of the low-profile chassis—the main longitudinal beams.

High-strength Q345B/HG60 steel: We showcased the main beams welded using a fully automated submerged arc welding process. Addressing the potential overloading conditions in Nigeria, Oron employed a thickened web and upper and lower flange design.

Torsion resistance design: Considering the uneven red clay roads of inland Nigeria, we added triangular supports to the crossbeams to ensure the frame does not undergo permanent deformation when the vehicle travels on tortuous surfaces. The customer personally measured the steel plate thickness with calipers, expressing high praise for the high-quality materials used.

The low-profile platform's "legs" determine its range.

13T/16T FUWA Axles: In Nigeria, FUWA axles boast the highest parts compatibility. We configured reinforced FUWA axles for our client, paired with 12.00R20 steel radial tires.

Mechanical Thickened Suspension: The client focused on the 10-leaf thickened steel springs. He frankly stated, "In Nigeria, we don't need complex air suspension; we need this kind of easily repairable and capable mechanical suspension."

Anti-slip Pads: For loading tracked equipment such as excavators and bulldozers, we used 4mm/5mm patterned pads with added anti-slip strips to ensure safety during rainy season loading.

Nigerian customers have extremely high requirements for ease of operation.

Heavy-duty ladder design: We demonstrated a reinforced manual ladder (hydraulic optional) on-site. Support legs were added to the bottom of the ladder to prevent the rear of the vehicle from lifting when loading heavy excavators.

Corrosion protection (for sea fog): Lagos is a typical coastal city. Aorun performed sandblasting and rust removal on the entire vehicle, followed by a three-layer epoxy zinc-rich paint coating, and applied a full-vehicle anti-corrosion wax before shipment to ensure no rust after transoceanic voyage.

Braking system: Equipped with a large-capacity air tank and WABCO relay valve to ensure rapid braking response on long downhill sections.

SONCAP Certification Support: Essential for customs clearance in Nigeria. We have a mature documentation team to ensure a smooth customs clearance process.

Logistics Solutions: A detailed comparison of freight rates between **bulk carriers** and **Ro-Ro** vessels is discussed. For 3-axle low flatbeds, we also offer "two-in-one" or "three-in-one" stacked transportation solutions, saving customers nearly 30% on ocean freight costs.
