At the Aorun final assembly workshop, engineers began by outlining to the client the spatial-mechanical advantages of the HOWO 6x4 dump truck:
The vehicle's relatively short wheelbase endows the 6x4 model with an exceptionally tight turning radius. Within the typical deep, terraced, and unpaved mining pits found in Burkina Faso, this allows the vehicle to execute efficient positioning and directional control maneuvers.
Powered by a classic SINOTRUK engine and paired with heavy-duty dual-reduction drive axles, the vehicle's compact body structure helps maintain a stable center of gravity—particularly on slippery, red-soil mining ramps with instantaneous gradients exceeding 25%. This design prevents the front wheels from lifting uncontrollably due to an excessive rearward shift of the axle load.

The rigid chassis of the HOWO 8x4 features a double-layer, integral main beam constructed from high-tensile manganese steel.
