AORUN | 2026-5-28

At the Aorun factory's chassis testing ground, engineers provided Cameroonian clients with a detailed demonstration of how the Shacman chassis performs mechanically when navigating complex geological terrains. The vehicle features a 6x4 (dual rear-axle drive) configuration, equipped with 16-ton class Hande cast-steel dual-stage reduction axles. Its unique wheel-side reduction technology geometrically amplifies the final output torque, thereby significantly reducing the alternating stress loads on the driveshaft.

The vehicle comes standard with a complete differential locking system (comprising both inter-axle and inter-wheel differential locks). When operating on unpaved inland roads or in mining zones within Cameroon—and encountering situations where a wheel on one side becomes suspended or begins to slip—the mechanical locking mechanism instantly transfers 100% of the kinetic energy to the axle with traction, thereby enabling highly efficient, fluid-shear-based vehicle recovery.

In strict adherence to the principles of fluid dynamics, the interior of the tank is fitted at regular intervals with corrugated baffles, fabricated using fully automated submerged arc welding. By altering the instantaneous flow paths of the liquid medium, these baffles uniformly dissipate the longitudinal inertial shear forces—generated during braking or turning—across the entire circumferential surface of the high-tensile carbon steel (Q345B) tank body.

The 20,000-liter tank features a standard 3-to-4 compartment design. Each compartment is equipped with an independent, EU-standard explosion-proof manhole cover and a bottom valve (emergency shut-off valve), enabling fleets to seamlessly transport diesel, gasoline, and aviation kerosene separately within a single trip—thereby maximizing transport efficiency per kilometer.

Aorun’s Modernized Delivery Quality Inspection Procedures:
100% Flaw Detection and Airtightness Testing: The client observed—on-site—the X-ray weld inspection reports for the tank body's main seams. Furthermore, they actively participated in airtightness and hydrostatic pressure retention tests conducted at a standard 1.5 times higher than the industry norm, thereby ensuring "zero leakage" during the transport of hazardous liquids.
Tropical Coastal Anti-Corrosion Waxing: To address the typical high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-salt-mist marine climate characteristic of the Port of Douala, Aorun demonstrated its comprehensive three-layer polyurethane anti-corrosion coating process applied to the entire vehicle. Additionally, prior to shipment, a thorough, "no-dead-angle" anti-corrosion wax coating was applied to ensure that the chassis and valve boxes remain protected against oxidative corrosion during long-distance maritime transit.
