A customer from Burkina Faso said: Although Burkina Faso isn't a "forest superpower," it's a crucial transit point for timber from neighboring countries (such as Côte d'Ivoire and Mali)!

However, 70% of their roads are gravel, some sections so bad that even truck wheels get stuck; ordinary trucks fully loaded with timber (30 tons per truck) break down after only two trips, resulting in exorbitant repair costs. Therefore, our Howo 8x4 chassis is specifically designed for Burkina Faso's extreme environment!

Our trucks traverse gravel roads, muddy riverbeds, and steep slopes in the Sahel region of northern Burkina Faso. The trucks, with their front two-axle steering and rear two-axle drive, are like "four legs" firmly planted on the ground. With an 800+3175+1400 mm wheelbase, they have a total load capacity of 35 tons, allowing them to carry a full load of timber without breaking a sweat. Previously, a truck could carry 15 tons; now it can carry 30 tons, doubling its efficiency.

Timber transport vehicles are constantly exposed to high temperatures (45℃) and dust storms; ordinary vehicles need their chassis replaced every six months. Ours features a sandblasting pretreatment + epoxy primer + polyurethane topcoat, which triples the resistance to salt spray corrosion. The high-strength steel frame keeps the vehicle looking brand new even after five years, much to the relief of mechanics! It's 1.5 times harder than ordinary steel, ensuring it won't collapse under the weight of timber.

In Burkina Faso, a customer transformed a Howo 8x4 chassis into a "timber transport king": A 3-meter long x 2.5-meter wide high-strength steel cargo box was added, with anti-slip steel plates on the bottom; hydraulic lifting ramps were installed on both sides, making loading and unloading timber as fast as "building blocks"!

The tires were replaced with 12R22.5 desert-specific tires, providing 45° off-road capability, allowing it to climb even sand dunes.
