A
dump truck is a special engineering transport vehicle with automatic unloading function, also named
tipper truck in international trade. It is composed of vehicle chassis, power system, hydraulic lifting mechanism and detachable cargo box, mainly used for transporting granular, block and loose bulk materials.
The core working principle relies on the built-in hydraulic cylinder power system. After reaching the unloading site, the driver controls the hydraulic device in the cab to slowly lift one end of the cargo box. Under the action of gravity, the materials inside the carriage slide down and complete automatic unloading. After unloading is finished, the hydraulic system resets the cargo box to a horizontal state to continue transportation work.
Compared with ordinary
flatbed trucks, dump
trucks save a lot of manual unloading time, improve overall work efficiency, and reduce labor input costs. According to different usage environments, dump trucks can be divided into mining type, engineering type, municipal sanitation type and other categories, covering almost all bulk material transportation scenes.
