AORUN | 2026-6-11

Recently, a seasoned mining logistics operator from Conakry, Guinea, traveled across the ocean to visit Aorun’s modern production base in Liangshan, Jining, Shandong—a city renowned for commercial vehicle manufacturing in China.

In large-scale overseas procurement of mining machinery, genuine manufacturing capabilities and transparent final inspections serve as the pivotal factors driving order conversion. A client from Guinea recently visited Aorun’s Liangshan factory to conduct a comprehensive, multi-dimensional dynamic performance assessment of the dump trucks:
Inspection of fixture-based full welding and deformation control: The client visited the structural welding workshop to witness firsthand the fully automated fixture positioning and CNC submerged-arc welding processes used for the dump truck body’s floor and side panels. The resulting welds are uniform and defect-free, ensuring the heavy-duty body exhibits excellent resistance to stress concentration under extreme loads.

At the production base, the Aorun technical lead explained to the Guinean client the robust mechanical design features that make this model ideally suited for the operating conditions of West African mining sites:
Reinforced mining cargo body (K-shaped/rectangular): Both the floor and side panels are constructed from high-tensile, wear-resistant alloy steel using an integrated bending and forming process. This structural design allows the concentrated force of localized impacts to be rapidly dissipated across the vehicle's main chassis frame, effectively preventing floor dents and fatigue cracks caused by falling rocks.

Equipped with a classic, high-horsepower, mechanically controlled heavy-duty engine, the machine demonstrates excellent tolerance for the high-sulfur diesel fuel found locally in West Africa. To combat the highly abrasive red soil dust that fills the air during Guinea's dry-season mining operations, the intake system has been upgraded with a multi-stage oil-bath desert air filter; this ensures superior air-solid separation, effectively eliminating abnormal cylinder wear caused by dust and sand ingress.

The tropical maritime climate along the coast of Conakry, Guinea—characterized by high humidity and heavy salt spray—is highly conducive to the electrochemical corrosion of exposed steel structural components. Following on-site verification with the client in Guinea, the Aorun quality control team strictly implemented a preparation process designed to provide a physical barrier against marine salt spray:
Multi-layer high-gloss polyurethane baked coating: The entire vehicle surface—including the interior and exterior of the dump body, the main frame, and the truck chassis—underwent rigorous shot-blasting for rust removal and the application of a zinc-rich primer, followed by the high-temperature baking of a high-gloss, anti-corrosive polyurethane topcoat. The coating exhibits exceptional adhesion, effectively withstanding the erosive effects of the highly acidic rainfall found in Guinea's interior and intense tropical UV radiation.
Heavy-duty anti-corrosion wax protection: Prior to shipment, specialized export engineers applied a marine-grade, heavy-duty anti-corrosive wax coating to the chassis frame, steering knuckles, drive shafts, spring brake chambers, and hard-to-reach areas around the fuel tank, ensuring complete coverage. For the sea voyage, premium transport methods were selected—specifically, indoor stowage on Roll-on/Roll-off (RO-RO) vessels or secure lashing in the holds of bulk carriers—to provide a total barrier against the elements.
