Accompanied by the business manager, the client from Benin conducted a comprehensive "health check" of the vehicle—ranging from engine cold-start tests and pneumatic system airtightness inspections to a detailed examination of the cab refurbishment. The client remarked: "In Benin, we undertake long-haul cross-border transport operations from Cotonou to Niger; for us, vehicle stability is our lifeline."

In parts of West Africa, unpaved road sections still remain. The 6x4 drivetrain, paired with the classic WD615.47 engine (371 hp), ensures that the tractor unit maintains superior traction—and avoids slippage—during the rainy season or when traveling on soft terrain.

Every 6x4 tractor unit undergoes a complete disassembly and overhaul. We sandblast the chassis frame to remove rust, perform a major engine overhaul, inspect and calibrate the transmission gears, and replace the rear axle lubrication system. Additionally, we install an entirely new interior and a high-performance air conditioning system.

The Port of Cotonou in Benin serves as a vital transit hub for shipments bound for Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.

Extended Range: To accommodate this type of cross-border transport, we recommended a dual-fuel-tank configuration (400L + 400L) to our client; this reduces the frequency of refueling stops along the route and enhances operational safety.
