Strong chassis: Large water trucks typically use heavy-duty truck chassis such as HOWO and SHACMAN, with a front four rear eight (four axle) drive system and strong load-bearing capacity. They will be equipped with large displacement diesel engines (such as Cummins engines or Weichai engines with 290-450 horsepower) to ensure sufficient power even under heavy loads, and to adapt to various complex road conditions such as urban roads, highways, and construction sites.
Large capacity tank: The tank is the core loading part, with a capacity between 20-30 cubic meters. Usually made of Q235 carbon steel and other materials, it is sturdy and impact resistant. In order to cope with the shaking of the liquid inside the tank during vehicle operation, multiple anti wave barriers will be installed inside to enhance driving stability and protect the tank structure.
Efficient spraying system: This system is driven by a high-power dedicated sprinkler pump and can achieve self-priming and self discharge. It can quickly absorb water from rivers or fire hydrants, and also pressurize the water before sending it out. Multiple functions are achieved through different nozzle combinations:
Forward flushing: Using the front duckbill shaped nozzle to flush the road surface, with a width of over 20 meters, it can effectively remove sediment and dirt from the main road.
Rear spray and side spray: The nozzle at the rear of the vehicle sprays wide water for dust reduction; The universal nozzles on both sides of the vehicle are used to flush the curbstones and guardrails.
Greening anti-aircraft gun: The water cannon installed on the rear platform of the vehicle has a long range (≥ 40 meters), can rotate 360 degrees, and can adjust the shape of the water column (straight, heavy rain, moderate rain, fog), used for watering tall trees, reducing dust in areas, and even emergency firefighting
